Cribly is being built around a simple constraint: sensitive nursery audio should stay on the phone while still giving caregivers useful signals.
On-device cry detection
Microphone input is analyzed locally using iPhone sound analysis. Audio is not recorded, stored, or transmitted by Cognerva.
Local cry history
Save timestamps and durations on-device so caregivers can review patterns without creating an account or syncing private data.
Calm status alerts
Local notifications keep monitoring state visible and help surface cry events without sending information through a server.
Caregiver tools
